16:00-19:00 HELSINKI CITY TOUR WITH ENGLISH-SPEAKING GUIDE
Explore the vibrant city of Helsinki with a tour that showcases its unique blend of modern architecture and rich cultural heritage.

Begin your journey at the iconic Temppeliaukio Church, also known as the Rock Church. Carved directly into solid rock, this architectural marvel offers a serene atmosphere and exceptional acoustics. Next, head to the historic Olympic Stadium, a symbol of Finnish sportsmanship and the venue for the 1952 Summer Olympics. Admire the stadium’s impressive tower and explore its surroundings, which include the Sports Museum of Finland. (Please note we do not enter the Stadium.) Continue your tour to Jätkäsaari, a contemporary waterfront district known for its modern urban development. 16:00-19:00 SUOMENLINNA FORTRESS VISIT WITH LOCAL ENGLISH-SPEAKING GUIDE

We board the ferry which will take us to the historic Suomenlinna fortress island.

Suomenlinna, also known as Sveaborg in Swedish, is a historic fortress island located in the Gulf of Finland, just off the coast of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Built during the 18th century, Suomenlinna is one of the largest sea fortresses in the world and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. 09:00-15:00 TUUSULA TOUR WITH LOCAL ENGLISH-SPEAKING GUIDE

Next, venture to Ainola, the former residence of the world-renowned composer Jean Sibelius. 09:00-16:00 FISKARS-TAMMISAARI EXCURSION WITH LOCAL ENGLISH-SPEAKING GUIDE
We will depart from Helsinki by bus and drive through modern suburban areas and then charming villages and scenic countryside until you arrive at FISKARS village, situated in the valley of the river of the same name. Iron and copper smelting plants have operated beside the river’s upper and lower rapids since the 17th century.
FISKARS differs in architecture from other Finnish villages: its center has an urban look, with fine old manor houses and production plants now converted into artists’ studios or exhibition halls. Time to browse in the many handicraft shops and artists’ studios. There are many cafés that serve lovely home-made bakery products.
The tour then continues to the idyllic small coastal town of TAMMISAARI. The charm of the Old Town is enhanced by numerous gardens, parks, and the beautiful surrounding archipelago. A tasty lunch will be served at traditional summer restaurant Knipan built on the water. Return to Helsinki by bus.

10:00-16:00 PORVOO EXCURSION WITH LOCAL ENGLISH-SPEAKING GUIDE
We depart in the morning by bus from Helsinki to Porvoo.
Explore the charming town of Porvoo, a picturesque gem on the southern coast of Finland. Begin your journey in the Old Town, where cobblestone streets wind past colorful wooden houses, creating a storybook atmosphere. Visit the iconic Porvoo Cathedral, a symbol of the town’s rich history, and marvel at its medieval architecture. Stroll along the idyllic riverside, where historic warehouses line the shores of the Porvoo River. Discover local boutiques, galleries, and cozy cafes, immersing yourself in the unique blend of tradition and modernity that defines Porvoo.
After the tour we will have lunch at the historic Haikko Mansion.
Indulge in luxury and history at Haikko Manor, an elegant estate nestled amid lush gardens and serene surroundings. Begin your visit with a guided tour of the manor, exploring its opulent rooms filled with antique furnishings and captivating stories. Wander through the beautifully landscaped gardens, appreciating the seasonal blooms and the tranquility that envelops the estate. We will savior a gourmet lunch at the manor’s restaurant, combining exquisite flavors with a refined ambiance, creating an unforgettable culinary experience. 10:00-16:00 WILDERNESS COOKING SCHOOL WITH LOCAL ENGLISH-SPEAKING GUIDE
There will be a bus transfer to the Outdoor Cooking venue approx. 45 minutes from Helsinki, in the Nuuksio National Park.
Around an open fire, the wilderness cook will explain how to cook salmon in the traditional way. We will participate in the preparation of the salmon, placing it on wooden platters. While the salmon is cooking, we will strike out on a walking trip along forest trails and paths through scenic nature. After the walk we will return to the campfire and enjoy a delicious lunch outdoors.
The menu will consist of fresh salad, smoked salmon, bread and forest berry juice. The dessert is Tikkupulla (a sweet bun on a stick), which everyone will prepare over the campfire, and it will be served with traditional Finnish coffee (or tea).
There will be an opportunity to visit the Haltia Visitor Center, which provides information about the Nuuksio National Park area.
After this delightful excursion we will return to Helsinki.
