Accommodation

Athens has a wide variety of accommodation options for travelers, in all price ranges and styles.

In order to help you select your accommodation we have partnered with a few centrally located hotels which have agreed to block rooms for SLE conference participants at a fixed rate (the rooms will remain available until 15/06/2023). Please note that each hotel has limited capacity and rooms will be reserved on a first come first served basis. Triple and quadruple rooms may also be available upon request in some hotels.

As the University is located 5.5km away from the commercial and historical center, bus transfers will be arranged from central pickup points in close proximity to the proposed hotels to transport you to the conference site.

If you are interested in using one of the hotels listed below for your stay, fill in the hotel registration form and send a copy via email to travel@tourhotel.gr . You should receive a confirmation of your reservation within a few days.

Please beware of the potential phishing emails from ops@travellerpoint.org. This is not the travel agency that is in contact with SLE organization.

*Prices include breakfast service and taxes. The same prices may be available for extended stays before and after the conference dates upon request. Reservations can be canceled free of charge up to 30 days before arrival.

**Please note that a tourist tax per room/ per night, which will be paid directly to the hotel at checkout, is excluded from the price.

Syntagma / Plaka area

Syntagma (a.k.a. Constitution Square) is the most central area of Athens. The Parliament building is the center of the country’s political life, and the square is well known as a meeting point. Busy and full of life, this neighborhood extends towards Monastiraki, down the famous pedestrian shopping street Ermou. To its south, you enter Plaka, the old historical neighborhood of Athens, clustered around the northern and eastern slopes of the Acropolis, and incorporating labyrinthine streets and neoclassical architecture.
