Conference venue<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All activities of the SLE annual meeting in Osnabr\u00fcck will be held on the city center campus of Osnabr\u00fcck University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most events, i.e. general sessions and workshops, the members\u2019 meeting, the closing session, as well as the coffee breaks, will take place in Building 15<\/strong> (Seminarstra\u00dfe 20). This is also where to find the registration desk<\/strong> and student helpers who will be happy to assist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Awards will be presented in the distinctive yellow Schloss\/Bishop\u2019s Palace<\/strong> in Building 11<\/strong> (Neuer Graben 29), right across Building 15. Weather permitting, the welcome reception will be held on the terrace of the Bishop\u2019s Palace, overlooking the palace garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The opening session and plenary sessions will take place in Building 01<\/strong> (Kolpingstra\u00dfe 7), which is across the street from Building 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lunch will be served in the cafeteria<\/strong> (M, Ritterstra\u00dfe 10) behind Building 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to get to Osnabr\u00fcck<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

By train<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Osnabr\u00fcck is well-connected to both the short-distance and the long-distance train network. Find a suitable train connection on the Deutsche Bahn website: https:\/\/int.bahn.de\/en<\/a>. The main station (Osnabr\u00fcck Hbf) is only a 20 minutes’ walk (or a short bus ride) away from the conference venue and the city center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please be aware that Deutsche Bahn, the German railway network, is currently experiencing irregularities and reduced performance. Please allow extra time for any train connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By car<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can reach Osnabr\u00fcck by car via the A1, the A30 and the A33.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By plane<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airports closest to Osnabr\u00fcck are M\u00fcnster\/Osnabr\u00fcck (FMO), Bremen (BRE), Hannover (HAJ), Hamburg (HAM), D\u00fcsseldorf (DUS), K\u00f6ln\/Bonn (CGN), Frankfurt (FRA) and Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS, Netherlands). The airports in D\u00fcsseldorf and Frankfurt have train stations with direct connections to Osnabr\u00fcck main station. For the remaining cities, there are regular train connections to Osnabr\u00fcck, but you will have to get a transfer to the cities\u2019 main train station. There is no direct bus transfer from M\u00fcnster\/Osnabr\u00fcck (FMO) to Osnabr\u00fcck; transfer only via M\u00fcnster Central Station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For transfers from Frankfurt (FRA) and Amsterdam (AMS), we would advise against relying on the last scheduled train of the day for onward travel. Late-night services may be cancelled or delayed, which could leave you stranded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
